FECCA COVID19 SMALL GRANTS

FCAV received $3500 for covid19 vaccination information sessions from FECCA Covid19 Small Grants. Two online sessions were planned and conducted. They addressed the physical, spiritual, social and covid 19 vaccination knowledge issues which members of the Fijian community are concerned with. The importance of testing and covid19 hygiene was also emphasised. The presenters and panel consisted of Fijian professionals - doctors, ED nurse, lawyer, chiro practitioner and pastor and a member of the Fijian community who has had first hand experience with the tragedy that covid19 can bring to a family.. FCAV sincerely thanks FECCA for the grant which has assisted with the improved health and wellbeing of the Fijian community. The informative message of hope was very well received by the Fijian community in Victoria and reached past the state border into WA and QLD and overseas.
